Injury Documents allows you to add and save important documents that may be required when sending bills for the Injury, such as Joint Letters or Declarations of Readiness.
Once saved, your team can quickly attach these Injury Documents when entering a bill.
Step 1. From the Injury page, next to ‘Documents’, click ‘+ Add’
Note: The number in parentheses indicates the number of added Injury Documents.
Step 2. Enter the Injury Document ‘Description’
The best practice is to create a naming convention, so all team members can easily identify Injury Documents in a list.
Step 3. Select a ‘Report Type’
To send documents electronically with an e-bill, providers must choose a Report Type that describes the uploaded document. The national e-billing protocol establishes these Report Types.
Use this dropdown menu to select the most applicable Report Type for each document. Select “OZ - Support Data for Bill” if no listed Report Type applies to the document.
Step 4. Choose whether daisyBill should automatically send the Injury Document with every bill
If yes, toggle the button On. If no, keep the button toggled Off.
Step 5. Upload Injury Document
You can drag and drop the file into daisyBill, or click ‘choose file(s)’ to choose the file from your computer.
Step 6. Click ‘Save’
Step 7. Click the Filename to view an Injury Document
The Injury Document will open in a new tab.
Step 8. (Situational) To edit an Injury Document, click the ‘Pencil’ icon
Clicking this icon opens an editable field where you can change the document ‘Description’ or ‘Report Type’.
Step 9. (Situational) To delete an Injury Document, click the ‘Trashcan’ icon
Adding, editing, or deleting Injury documents is no sweat!
